Discipline

1. The institute places significant emphasis on maintaining discipline among students both on and off campus. Students are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the institute and hostels, including updates introduced over time. They must refrain from any actions, inside or outside the campus, that could disrupt the orderly functioning, discipline, or reputation of the institution.

2. Ragging in any form, whether on or off campus, is strictly prohibited under the law. Students found engaging in ragging will face immediate expulsion, and legal action will be taken as per the Haryana Prohibition of Ragging in Educational Institution ordinance, 2012.

3. Students are required to attend all scheduled theory and laboratory sessions on working days from the commencement of the academic year.

4. In cases of unavoidable absence, prior permission must be obtained from the Principal. For absences due to illness, a medical certificate accompanied by a written application from parents or guardians must be submitted. Parents or guardians are expected to notify the authorities promptly in such cases.

5. The main lobby, corridors, and the areas surrounding the library are designated as silent zones during teaching hours. Any disruption, such as loud noises or vehicle-related disturbances, will lead to disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the authorities.

6. Students must ensure that extracurricular activities do not interfere with their academic responsibilities or schedules.

7. Participation in extracurricular activities should complement academic commitments rather than disrupt them.

8. Students must refrain from engaging in antisocial behavior or forming groups that disrupt the academic or administrative functioning of the institution. Violations will result in disciplinary action.

9. Students must avoid causing damage to institute property. Any damage caused will be repaired at the expense of the student or their parents/guardians.

10. Carrying a valid identity card within the campus is mandatory, and students must present it upon request. Any loss or damage to the card should be reported to the concerned authorities immediately.

11. Entry into classrooms, laboratories, or the library is permitted only when students are in the prescribed uniform. Laboratory sessions require additional safety gear, such as aprons, caps, and masks, as specified.

12. Vehicles must be parked in the designated cycle or motorcycle stands in an orderly manner.

13. Students are expected to park their vehicles systematically in the allocated parking areas.

14. Institute facilities such as the medicinal garden, restrooms, water coolers, newspapers, and periodicals must be used responsibly and maintained in good condition.

15. All students are advised to regularly check the notice boards for updates and announcements.

16. The possession or consumption of tobacco, tobacco products, and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited on and off campus. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion without prior warning.

17. The use of mobile phones within the college campus is strictly prohibited.
